Jillian S. McIntyre

Jillian (aka 'J-MAC') is the founding member of J-MAC Capital LLC.  

Most recently Jillian was at Pequot Capital in New York, a $7bn Hedge Fund founded by Art Samberg,  where she ran a long/short Global TMT fund.  Prior to Pequot, she was Managing Director and TMT Product Manager at Bear Stearns & Co, and went on to propose and establish the Proprietary Trading desk in New York.   Jillian has worked for major investment banks such as Merrill Lynch, where she was key in growing the Technology specialty salesforce on a global basis, as well as broking global TMT companies to major institutional investors in Boston, New York and Europe.   She started in the Financial industry in 1992 and up until 1998 was based in London, where she was a ranked Technology analyst (by Institutional Investor).    

Born in Sussex, England, Jillian grew up working for her parent's business from an early age.  She studied Accounting and Finance at Kingston University, and worked in the City of London for major corporations during her summer breaks.  She landed her first role post University in Equity research at Morgan Stanley covering European Technology companies.
