J-MAC considers four stages to investing in Global TMT

Our Alpha generation comes in stage two.  We believe many funds fail due to lack of money-making investment ideas.   We believe it is critical to have a consistent flow of good ideas.

At J-MAC Capital, we have researched an extensive universe of companies from our tenure in the business.  We are opportunistic investors with a focus on three key elements;  global themes in Technology, Media and Telecom.  We look at valuation screens and finally access our extensive network of contacts, which includes Private Equity, Venture Capitalists, investment bankers, Institutional investors, engineers and salespeople across our Corporate network. 

 Our fundamental analysis includes a thorough understanding of the companies we are invested in, the leverage to the business model, which concludes in a price target and a stop/loss.   Portfolio Formation is driven by the risk/reward of our stock selection.  The greater the risk/reward, the larger the position size (up to 7.5%).  We have core and non-core positions that depend on liquidity and our investment time horizon.  Our risk management is a factor that we consider throughout the investment process.   Post-trade analysis ongoing throughout re-evaluation of portfolio and activity.
